My jewelry is primarily fabricated from 18K gold, sterling silver and a "bimetal"
which is made by fusing a layer of 18k gold to a layer of sterling silver.
Since my jewelry tends to be large, this material is ideal for my work because it allows me
to have the color and richness of 18K gold without some of the limitations of gold.
I also work with niobium, a metal which can be colored
by an electric current to rich jewel tone hues.
The colors are not pigment but light much like you see in a soap bubble or oil on water.
Thus, they shift in subtle ways when viewed at various angles.

All of the jewelry is fabricated from flat sheet metal and wire using
techniques of shell forming, die forming and forging.
These allow the jewelry to be strong yet quite light.
